1999 Harley-Davidson® FXR2

Take home a perfect snapshot of a Harley-Davidson moment in time and the first of what would later be known as the "CVO" line. That’s right . . . we didn’t know it at the time, but THIS is the bike that started a new page in history for the Motor Company. Virtually every piece and part of this motorcycle was carefully chosen to give it a unique “CUSTOM” look and feel. The difference? It was done AT THE FACTORY!!! Only 800 (roughly) of this model were built creating a new moniker . . . “CVO”, or “Custom Vehicle Operations” and this was the first. The program has been going strong now for 25 years and is as successful now as it was on day one. Also, commonly referred to as “Screaming Eagles”, these bikes start with a base of stock components, but then on the way to becoming a complete and rideable motorcycle, all of the bits and pieces get upgraded for a finished bike that sets itself apart from the ones next to it on the showroom floor . . . and out on the road. As well, setting their owners apart from the crowd.
