Refined finishes, a modern edge and the reinvigorated ride of the Heritage model take nostalgia ripping into the here and now. Make no mistake . . . It may look like a 1949 HydroGlide, but the Milwaukee Eight version of the Heritage Softail Classic is, most assuredly NOT your Pappaw’s motorcycle. It’s a, MORE than capable, all day motorcycle, two up OR solo. I’d rather save space talking any more about the styling though, as the pictures already tell that story pretty good.

Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty . . . 114 Cubic inches of the smoothest engine configuration ever even imagined by the Motor Company. The 6 speed transmission is fluid and flawless as you snick from gear to gear and roll this baby down the highway. The information available in that console gauge is pretty astounding without being an obtrusive cluster up in your face. Speed, of course . . . but, then there’s a fuel indicator, two trip odos, a digital tachometer, (current) gear indicator, as well as a representation of how many miles are remaining before you’ve got to start looking for a gas station. The Suspension that’s under this newest version of Softails is top shelf. The Heritage specifically, has nearly 5 FULL INCHES of travel from it’s big fat dirt/sport bike style mono-shock tucked up in the frame. It comes with throttle by wire, so there are no cables to futz and fool around with adjusting. That same feature now allows for it to be equipped with Electronic Cruise control, adding to the thorough enjoyment of you “all day ride”. Then there’s Anti-Lock brakes from the factory. Pappaw never even dreamed of having ANY of these things on a motorcycle! You gotta come ride this thing if you haven’t experienced one yet. No worries . . . we’ll take ya’ for a spin.
